DayTraders Review: Pro, S2F and Live Account Rules

Affiliate disclosure: VTF may earn a commission if you purchase through the affiliate links in this review. That relationship does not change the rules described below. A referral code is not a promise of a discount; check the final order total and the terms for your exact plan.

Research checked October 6, 2026. This update uses the firm’s official pricing and help documents, with original payout calculations and AI-assisted research and drafting prepared for Verified Trader Funding. It is a desk-researched review, not a new firsthand trading or payout test. Examples are hypothetical, assume all other eligibility requirements are met, and exclude taxes and payment-provider charges. Futures trading involves risk; fees can be lost and payouts are conditional.

VTF verdict: The choice of account style matters more than the brand-wide offer. Pro’s payout increments and consistency need planning, while S2F and live specifications deserve account-specific confirmation.

DayTraders: identify the account path first

DayTraders offers several account styles, and the differences are large enough to change the verdict. A trailing evaluation, static evaluation, EOD evaluation, Straight to Funded and Straight to Live are not interchangeable purchases. This review uses 50K examples and keeps simulated Pro payouts separate from the live route.

50K evaluation stylePublished targetPublished drawdown
Full / trailing$3,000$2,500 intraday trailing
Static$3,750$1,000 static
Full EOD$3,000$2,000 EOD; $1,250 daily loss limit

The official size table lists ten minis for Full and Full EOD 50K, versus six for Static 50K. These are maximum allowances, not appropriate sizes for every trader. Official evaluation sizes.

Current pricing and the affiliate-code limitation

The current homepage advertises standard pricing without codes and a flat $5 activation fee. Its newer EOD rules also show $5 activation and a ten-day deadline after passing. Older articles and promotional screenshots quoting larger activation fees should not be treated as today’s checkout quote. Current DayTraders homepage. Official EOD account rules.

VTF’s existing referral URL includes KING. We preserve that attribution parameter, but do not advertise it as a current discount: the new standard-pricing message does not support that claim. Confirm the exact evaluation price, any one-time versus recurring selection, and activation terms on the selected order. No purchase or tracking conversion was performed in this review.

This is a useful example of why discount research belongs after program research. A familiar code can remain part of an affiliate link without proving a current price reduction. The important comparison is the payable total for the correct account, not the size of an old crossed-out number.

Evaluation requirements and strategy fit

The evaluation rules require two qualifying days; a 50K qualifying day needs at least $200. Evaluation consistency is 50%. News trading and dollar-cost averaging are permitted within the rules, while hedging and high-frequency trading are prohibited. The general evaluation article allows overnight and weekend holding subject to mark-to-market risk; check the specific product before assuming every account style permits it. Stop trading once the account has passed. Official evaluation rules.

Two qualifying days are only one gate. Two $200 days create $400, far below either the $3,000 Full target or the $3,750 Static target. A “two-day evaluation” describes a minimum opportunity, not an expectation of reaching the target in two normal sessions.

Static drawdown also deserves a proper comparison. The 50K Static evaluation begins with a much smaller loss allowance than Full trailing, even though the threshold does not trail. Calculate the target-to-loss-allowance relationship for your chosen plan: $3,750 ÷ $1,000 = 3.75 for Static, versus $3,000 ÷ $2,500 = 1.2 for Full. These ratios describe starting parameters, not pass probabilities; a moving floor makes the trading paths different.

Pro payouts: eight days is only the beginning

The general funded rules specify 30% Pro consistency and eight qualifying days; S2F uses 20% and ten qualifying days. On a 50K Pro account, the stated minimum request balance is $52,600, the post-payout balance must remain at least $52,000 and the cap is $2,000. Monthly-plan inactivity requires a qualifying day within 30 days; lifetime plans have a different four-day activity requirement. Official funded trading rules.

The payout FAQ adds a $500 minimum and $500 increments, with a 100% simulated-account payout split. The request day does not count as a qualifying day. These procedural details matter even when the headline balance and day count appear sufficient. Official payout FAQ.

DayTraders 50K Pro scenario: at $52,600, $600 exceeds the retained $52,000 balance, but $500 increments limit the request to $500.
Original VTF example using the general Pro payout policy. Assumes qualifying days, consistency and all other conditions are met. Confirm your exact account style in the dashboard.

At $52,600, subtracting the $52,000 retained balance gives $600. But a request must use $500 increments, so the eligible amount in this example is $500, not $600. At $54,000, the $2,000 cap could be available if every other condition is met. Eight qualifying days alone do not establish either amount.

Consistency adds another independent hurdle. A hypothetical $1,200 best day under a 30% rule requires at least $4,000 cycle profit. If the balance condition is reached first, the trader may still be ineligible. Use separate trackers for qualifying days, cycle profit, best day, available request amount and the account’s activity deadline.

S2F and S2L: different meanings of skipping a stage

The payout FAQ gives 50K S2F successive profit goals of $3,500, $3,000 and $2,500, with a $2,000 payout cap. Skipping the evaluation therefore does not skip the funded qualification process. Its ten-day and 20% consistency requirements should not be replaced with Pro’s easier-looking figures. S2F payout policy.

Straight to Live is a separate evaluation route. The official S2L table lists a Core 50K evaluation with a $3,000 target, $2,000 intraday drawdown, $1,000 daily loss limit, eight qualifying days and 25% consistency. The dedicated live landing page lists Core at $329 one-time with no activation cost. After passing, it describes live funding with daily payout requests and no consistency rule. S2L evaluation parameters. Official live route and pricing.

Official documentation conflicts to resolve before purchase

DayTraders’ public documents do not align perfectly. The help-center live article shows a one-mini Core live limit, while the live landing page shows two. The general evaluation-size page also contains S2F parameters that should not be silently substituted for a current S2F offer. We do not resolve these differences by selecting the more generous figure. Live-account help article. Live landing-page specifications.

For S2L, ask support to confirm the live contract limit that applies to the current Core offer. For S2F, confirm the purchased account’s drawdown and limits in writing. This does not establish misconduct; it establishes an information gap important enough to resolve before paying. A review is more useful when it identifies the unresolved question than when it fills the gap with a confident guess.

VTF assessment and alternatives

Reasons to consider DayTraders: several risk structures, a documented route from an S2L evaluation to live funding, and a 100% share on approved simulated payouts. Tradeoffs: multiple product families, qualifying-day thresholds, payout increments and conflicting details across official pages demand careful account-specific checks.

Full or EOD Pro may suit a trader whose normal daily distribution satisfies the qualifying-day and 30% conditions. Static needs a separate risk assessment because of its smaller starting loss allowance. S2F is not automatically easier because there is no evaluation, and S2L should be judged on the confirmed live agreement rather than only the evaluation table.

Compare Apex EOD for a different funded day count and account lifecycle, or Tradeify Select if funded consistency is the condition you most want to avoid. Our payout-rules guide helps separate timing, balance, increments and split before you compare offers.

DayTraders FAQ

Can I request $600 when the account is $600 above the retained balance?

The general Pro payout FAQ requires $500 increments. In the $52,600 example, that leaves a $500 request, provided all other conditions are satisfied.

Does KING currently guarantee a discount?

No. The existing VTF referral URL retains KING, while the current homepage advertises standard pricing without codes. Confirm the final checkout price.

Is every funded DayTraders account live?

No. Pro and S2F payout rules concern simulated funding. S2L and discretionary live transitions are distinct paths with separate agreements and limits.
